Design & Portability

The PowerCore 5000 is a slim cylinder — think thick marker pen. At just 4.2 inches long and 1.3 inches in diameter, it genuinely fits in a jeans pocket. It weighs 4.8 ounces, so you'll barely notice it in your bag. The matte black finish resists fingerprints and feels solid in hand.

Four small blue LEDs on the side show the remaining charge — press the button to check. It's not as precise as a percentage display, but it tells you enough: full, half, low, or dead.

Charging Performance

The 5000mAh capacity provides approximately one full charge for most smartphones (iPhone 15: ~100%, Samsung Galaxy S24: ~85%). Anker's PowerIQ technology auto-detects your device and delivers the optimal charging speed up to 10W.

Charging speed is adequate but not fast — expect about 2.5 hours to fully charge an iPhone 15. This isn't a fast-charger replacement; it's an emergency top-up device. For that purpose, it's perfect.
