Design & Build

The Wyze Cam v4 is tiny — just 2.3 x 2.0 x 2.0 inches. It's a small white cube that blends into any room. The magnetic base attaches to metal surfaces, and a standard mount is included for wall installation. Despite its size, it feels well-built with a matte finish that doesn't attract dust.

The big upgrade for v4 is IP65 weather resistance, meaning you can use it outdoors. Rain, snow, dust — it handles it all. Previous Wyze cams were indoor-only, so this is a significant improvement.

Video Quality

2.5K QHD resolution (2560x1440) is the headline spec, and it delivers. Daytime footage is crisp and detailed — you can read license plates and clearly identify faces. The wide 130-degree field of view covers entire rooms or front porches without any fisheye distortion.

Smart Features

Motion detection zones let you define specific areas to monitor, reducing false alerts from passing cars or swaying trees. Two-way audio is clear enough for quick conversations with delivery drivers. There's also a built-in siren for scaring off intruders.

The camera works with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can pull up the live feed on an Echo Show or Google Nest Hub with a voice command.

App Experience
